This programme is presenting an overview on the carefully chosen compositions of Boris Kovac, a kind of retrospective of his career over the last 25 years, which includes a selection of his most recent works. Boris Kovac invited Svetlana Spajic to take part to this project because of her vocal ecleticism and in order to give a new dimension and deep nuances to his music.The musical language of the composer, who has a high international reputation, defies all stereotypes, and combines and connects the post modernity of the contemporary chamber music with the experiences of contemporary jazz, world music, with a touch of traditional music from South-East Europe and Mediterranean. Consequently, The performance of the New Ritual Group includes classical and contemporary musicians as well as artists who are more into jazz or ethno music.
